Vicarage Cottage - Access Statement |

Introduction
The cottage is part of The Old Vicarage and the accommodation is on two floors. We try to provide pretty much everything you are likely to need whilst staying with us but there is always room for improvement. If you have a specific question then please do get in touch with us.
Pre-Arrival
- There is a bus stop within 100 metres of the property along level footpaths. There is a regular bus service to Lincoln.
- The railway station is 4 miles away in Lincoln. Taxis are usually available at the station.
- We have a web site with photographs of the inside of the property.
- This Statement can be provided in larger print if required.
- Regrettably we are unable to accommodate animals.
- The property is centrally heated throughout.
Arrival & Parking
- Please let us know your expected arrival time so that we can be here to welcome you. We would appreciate notification if it changes.
- Your reserved parking space is behind closed gates on our paved drive off Deepdale Lane..
- Luggage can be unloaded in the drive and carried to the cottage along a paved pathway and then through the gravelled garden area (30 mtrs).
- The area is lit at night by P.I.R controlled lighting.
Main Entrance
- The entrance has a low threshold at the door.
- The hall has a mat well and a carpet with a rug on it.
Kitchen/Dining Area
- The room is split between kitchen area and dining area.
- The dining area is carpeted. It has a round dining table on four legs and four upholstered dining chairs. It is illuminated by a rise & fall light.
- There is a wall unit with remote control television & radio/CD player.
- The kitchen area has a vinyl floor. There are ample kitchen cupboards at low level. The cooker is gas operated. There is a standard size fridge with a smaller freezer and a washer/dryer.
- The kitchen area is lit by ceiling mounted spotlights.

Upstairs Accommodation
- The staircase is quite steep and narrow (it is a cottage!) with carpet on it and a handrail on the left hand side.
- It has 11 steps which are 21 cms high, 23 cms deep, and 70 cms wide up to a left handed quarter landing followed by 3 more steps.
Bedroom
- It has a 4' 6" double bed accessible from both sides, a fitted wardrobe, fitted dressing table and bedside cabinets with lights.
- The duvet & pillows are synthetic. The bed linen is polycotton.
- The floorcovering is carpet.
Bathroom
- A large room with a standard three piece suite, a thermostatic shower over the bath and a glazed shower screen.
- There is an airing cupboard.
- The floorcovering is carpet.
Sitting Room
- A very large room with exposed beams but a low entrance doorway.
- There is a three-piece suite, a wall unit with music system, a low coffee table and a remote control teletext television with DVD player.
- The room is carpeted.
Outside
- Access to East Street and the Village.
- Gravelled garden area facing south. Teak garden furniture & parasol.
Additional Information
- The cottage has a smoke alarm.
- There is a Fire Statement in the Information Folder.
- Mobile Phone reception on Orange can be difficult. Other networks are usually fine.
- Please do not smoke in the cottage.
